South Texas Veterans Health Care System

The South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) is made up of the Audie L. Murphy Memorial VA Hospital, the Kerrville VA Hospital, and Satellite Clinic Division. The STVHCS is a 268 bed center providing major, additional and tertiary health care in medication, surgery, psychiatry, and rehab medication. Moreover it supports a 90 bed Community life Center, a 30-bed Spinal Cord Injury Center, an eight-bed bone tissue Marrow Transplant Unit, and a Geriatric Research, Education and Clinical Center. Associated with the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, the machine features an energetic ambulatory care program with satellite outpatient clinics in San Antonio and Victoria. Community Based Clnics are situated in Alice, Beeville, Brownsville, Eagle Pass, Kingsville, brand new Braunfels, San Marcos, Seguin and Uvalde.
