Visitor Parking

Parking for site visitors comes in the Institute’s own parking lot for a moderate fee. Visitors may be directed to a spot or utilize our valet parking service at no extra expense.

By Car

L.I.E. - Westbound
Exit 33 Lakeville Road/New Hyde Park. Proceed on solution road to second traffic light. Make remaining turn onto Lakeville Road and go under expressway trestle. Proceed south one mile; make right at entrance to Parker Jewish Institute and LIJ. Make right at stop indication and go to valet parking area. Parker is the white building with blue trim.

L.I.E. - Eastbound
Exit 33 Lakeville Path. From service roadway, make right turn onto Lakeville path. Proceed south one mile; make right at entrance to Parker Jewish Institute and LIJ. Make right at stop sign and proceed to valet parking area. Parker may be the white building with blue trim.

Northern State (Grand Central) - Westbound
Exit 25S Lakeville Road/New Hyde Park. Proceed on Lakeville Road to third light making correct at entrance to Parker Jewish Institute and LIJ. Make right at end sign and check out valet parking lot. Parker may be the white building with blue trim.

North State (Grand Central) - Eastbound
Exit at Lakeville Road. Make right turn into Marcus Avenue and proceed to traffic light. Make remaining turn onto Lakeville Road. Proceed south 3/10 mile to Parker Jewish Institute entrance from the right (there's a light here). Make right at stop indication and check out valet parking lot. Parker may be the white building with blue trim.

By Train

From Manhattan: The Long Island Railroad Port Washington line from Penn Station to Great Neck (thirty minutes). Taxi or Schenck coach to Parker Jewish Institute (ten full minutes).

From Brooklyn: The extended Island Railroad from Atlantic Avenue, via Jamaica to Floral Park or brand new Hyde Park Stations (40-45 mins). Taxi to Parker Jewish Institute.

By Bus & Subway

IND E or F trains to Union Turnpike (Kew Gardens). Make use of final car of train and then leave station at 78 Avenue exit. After that simply take Q46 (City range) bus to 271 Street (last end). Go north two blocks to 76 Avenue and entrance to Parker Jewish Institute.
