Dr. Cooper was raised in Littleton, Colorado and graduated from Littleton twelfth grade in 1982. After graduating from Colorado State University in 1986, she joined the US Peace Corps and served in Gabon, Africa. Upon going back residence, she went to medical school on University Of Colorado Health Sciences Center after which did this lady residency in Family Medicine in Grand Junction, Colorado, graduating in 1996. She worked in La Junta, Colorado for a couple many years before going back into the Denver location in 2000.
